DIY Dumbbells Plus Exercises You Can Do at Home
I had so much fun—and got a great workout—filming this week’s video! It took me back to my days when I was ballin’ on a budget. I was young and broke, but I wanted to get stronger. So instead of paying for a monthly gym membership or expensive at-home exercise equipment, I got creative and made my own at-home gym.
One-gallon water jugs served as DIY dumbbells when I shadowboxed. These days, with more experience, I’ve gotten a little more creative with my at-home exercises. In this video, I show you how to get a full body workout in 30 minutes using water jugs.
Here’s the workout:
Equipment needed:
2 1-gallon jugs
2 2-gallon jugs
Exercises (3-4 sets each, 10-15 reps):
Bicep curls
Shoulder presses
Arnold presses
Tricep kick backs
Bent over rows
Dead lifts
Forward lunges
Lateral squats
Make sure to connect your mind and body and maintain good form throughout the exercises. If you’re interested in an ongoing, personalized program you can do at home, check out my online training program!
