The One-Minute Workout: Drills You Can Do at Home

One-minute workouts are your go to if you’ve got limited time. If you're like most people, you run into days where you just don't hit your workout goals. Maybe you wanted to go for a run or do a 30-minute body weight exercise, but instead you had to help your kid with homework or got stuck in unusually bad traffic. It's okay!

The good news is that you can still move a little closer to your fitness goals with one of one-minute workouts that you can do at home. I actually like to think of these one-minute workouts as drills, because they have you practice foundational movements that will help you connect with your body and perfect your form. You'll burn calories, too!

If you’re in the middle of a busy day, just pick a single one-minute workout and knock it out. If you have some additional time, you can do a combination of exercises from this video. The important thing is to focus. You want to use your time efficiently, and that requires getting the movement down. You might find it hard to connect your mind and body at first, but over time, as you repeat these drills, you will develop a sense for what each drill should feel like. You'll also notice mental benefits like clarity and better mood.
