Life is about choices, and with choices comes accountability and responsibility. When trying to find our path through life and making choices that determine our destiny, our destination is not always clear. But through the small and simple things we do day in and day out (consistently, daily), we create the life we really want.

This is a small slide show of some of the things “I be doing” and that I enjoy as part of my healthy lifestyle.

I first had a desire to be strong and healthy. Then, as I started my fitness journey, I wanted to find things that would be fun and keep my interest so I would stick to it. Little did I know I would actually discover many things that make me feel alive while keeping me healthy. Lifting, functional movements, jiu jitsu, cooking, and recovery have become important components of my lifestyle.

Being active is a critical part of longevity. The good news is that you get to choose what you do. Find your healthy lifestyle and make it happen. Find activities that you enjoy and that support your sense of well being mentally and physically. You’ll feel better, think better, and have the energy to live better by making choices that lead you to create the life you really want.
