From Fat to Fit: A Six-Month Update on My Personal Training Journey

When I started personal training with Andrea back in March, part of me feared that all our hard work would be for naught. Surely, I would be the exception to the rule—I would work out every day and I would remain exactly the same size, with exactly the same muscle definition.

Six months in, I’m happy to report that I’m like every other ordinary human being. Put me in personal training three times a week and not only will the pounds slip off (25 lbs. so far), but I’ll also develop more muscle tone than I ever thought possible.

How’s that for progress?!

Going forward, we’re going to focus a lot on my lower abdominals—the hardest muscle group to target. Of course, we’re going to give plenty of attention to everything else as we continue to firm and tone.

I’m absolutely thrilled with where I’m at today, and I’ve gotten so much more out of personal training than I ever imagined, including those killer abs above and some important life lessons.
